Birthdays
Lots of cake eating has occured at our house. It is a consensus to not have cake this week.
May 30th: Allyssa's practice for her birthday
We practiced Allyssa's birthday with cupcakes when Grandma and Papa were here. Allyssa had a good time. She threw cake all over and thought it was funny!

Getting there
I tried to get caught up on a few things before Allyssa's birthday, but as you can see, it is here!! Last night we threw out about 10 onesies that are forever stained. She is in a shirt and skirt today (Thanks Rachel!!). She looks cute and less like a baby. Guess her birthday was a good day for that to happen. To make me feel better about her growing up, she tried to eat the buttons on my shirt this morning. Anyone have ideas on how to keep her new clothes clean? She is a mess!

May 28th Texas State Aquarium, Corpus Christi
The idea of going to the Aquarium seemed too huge, but I finally relented, so off we went. Allyssa had a great time. Grandma and Papa loved the dolphins. I did, too!
