I interrupt this picture updating for a nap update! :)
Allyssa napped from 12:50 to 1:50 and woke up tired. She played for a short time. Ate a snack. Played for a short time. Seemed sleepy. Nursed at 2:50 and fell asleep once the hiccups finally went away. I tried putting her in her crib which really is difficult. Here is why:
At night I leave the side of the crib down because she really doesn't wake up at night. I can easily put her to bed. For her morning nap, I leave it down as well and I go to her right away like I always have when she cries. For her after lunch nap, her Daddy puts her down, so the side of the crib is up. Daddy can easily put her down. Today, instead of holding her for her last nap, I decided to put her in her crib. Knowing that it is risky because it is a change in schedule (different time and place), I wanted the crib side up. I can't reach over the crib side. I'm too short. I can't have the side down and then move it up because it is broken and I shake the whole crib trying to move it. Thus, I tried to put her in with the side up. Poor baby woke up immediatly, cried for 4 minutes, played for three, wailed for 10 minutes, moaned for 3, and finally went to sleep. Supper is going to be at 5 tonight instead of six. Going to try to put Allyssa in her crib earlier. Right now I'm nursing her from 7:15 to 8 (she's slow at night because she wants to be held), and then putting her in her crib. I have no idea how much to adjust that. I still want her to sleep through the night! Boy howdy!

Yippee!! Congrats!! Woo hoo!! Hope things continue to go well!
Being equally as short as you, I have the same problem with the crib. In a pinch I keep a stool nearby and just kick it over to the crib. I used to *sometimes* be able to put the girls down more easily that way--the extra height made it a little easier to put them down--if only they made arm extenders for those tricky times.
