Mom's joy

I never thought that I'd be so excited to see a dirty diaper. Allyssa filled a diaper on Monday and then hadn't filled another. This morning, we went to the doctor. They weighed her. With poop in her, she was 13 lbs 14 oz. She is 22 1/2 in tall today. The doctor took her off her iron drops!! And then gave her medicine to help her fill diapers. Yeah! By the time we got home from Harlingen, she felt better! The highlight of my day was, yes, a poopy diaper.

Cold day

Yesterday morning when I woke up it was 49 degrees outside. Here is Allyssa in her cute overalls! Today it was 51 when I woke up. Allyssa gets to wear kahki overalls today! Woohoo!

Carrots

Yesterday we tried carrots for the first time. Allyssa like them and ate all of it! Much better than the peaches of last week. The pieces were too big for her to swallow.
