The tree in our yard barely missed the house. It fell from the neighbor's yard. We think that those neighbors evacuated because one of their cars is gone and we haven't seen them since the day before the storm.
Laura, I was thinking about you when the hurricane came. We went through all that 3 years ago, and I know you weren't having any fun. It is really scary watching the trees bend 45 degrees, then snap or uproot. Cleanup is a mess, too. So much stuff to get rid of! Each hurricane we had took 2-3 days to get the junk out of the yard! You really understand the power of the weather after watching a hurricane. I thank God you are all okay.
